#77 @ CSI

 Another cold, wet, Orange day and the start of 2 weeks of school holidays...... Love not having to wake the kids up on these chilly, winter mornings....they can snuggle away to their hearts content.

 I want to share what I have created for the CSI-case file #77 (pop over and be inspired, the DT have created some real magic!)
 here is a close-up to begin with.....
 {Take Me As I Am}

 Pearls, Satin Ribbon Flower, Script Stamp, Leaf Template 12x12, Web Ribbon and Tiny Twine all from
I have also used the gorgeous Scrapmatts Twig Frame and also the Leaf Spray.
With the leaf spray, I have coloured with Ivy glimmermist.

Hope you like?
The journaling around the outside reads~3:30pm- Friday, 14th February-1992-Sherbrooke Lodge-Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. The clouds parted and the sun appeared, just in time for photo's the leaves all about us seemed the most beautiful greens, so fresh and clean. Just so perfect!!!
The Case file looks like this....
So you need to have all of the above colours. Pick 2 things from the list of evidence and 1 thing from the list of Testimony to incorporate into your layout.
And most importantly....have fun!!!
Cheers and hope you have an awesome & happy weekend
Love & Hugs

Craft Queen+Prima=Yum!!!

It's Friday.....Friday!!!!

Just wanted to share a few creations with you that I created a few weeks ago using wonderful Prima and Craft Queen goodness!!!

 {Magic}
This photo has been taken of Rhys (who is currently studying at Hiroshima University), at one of the many festivals the city has.
Nicole at Craft Queen has some gorgeous Black & Silver metal elements that are awesome value, (click on the link above my photo to take a look at Nicole's fantastic range of goodies).... Great for boy pages.
 I miss my boy......

 {Elegance}
is when the inside is as beautiful as the outside.

Cobweb ribbon lace trims (cut-up), and beautiful flowers create the surrounds of this layout of DD, Samantha (Photo taken at one of those oh!-so-special days/nights of a girls life) Year 12 Graduation.
has everything you need to create stunning layouts
 I've also used a little Scrapmatts word and that little swirly chipboard is also from Scrapmatts...these are fab and great value.

{Smile Card}

That loopy trim is one of my new favourite trims.....have a look
 HERE....

I love chopping things up, so trim is fantastic for that and it's great for texture.

I still have a few layouts to share but will add those next week....
hope you have a fabulous weekend whatever you have planned

June + Scrapmatts :)

Hello there ;0)

Have so much to blog about this week, it's so not funny....but firstly I need to share my Design Team projects for Scrapmatts for the month of June (Can you believe we are halfway through the year already!!!!)

 So the Scrapmatts DT had to create 2 projects this month.....

1. a card or layout on a budget. ( cardstock, 2 pattern papers, no purchased flowers)
2. a free choice project.

this is what I created

1. a card...
I've used punches, liquid pearls, upholstery thread and I've created some twirl flowers.
I've used the stunning Scrapmatts Ornate Frames 13 (CB4056), Ribbon Banners 01 (CB1204), Scrap Words 02 (CB1190) and the Micro Chips 20 (MC1028) which is the little birdcage and the sweet little bird.

2 Free Choice....

  I've created this layout of DD, Sidney....the photo is from last yr.....a dress up day at school for Halloween, she went as a broken china doll. Samantha done her make-up and Sidney looked so gorgeous. She finished her outfit with her favourite teddy bear SPRINKLES (who has been with her since the day Sidney was born.)
 I've lightly misted the Scrapmatts, Leaf Spray 13 (CB4063) with a soft pink glimmermist . I've also used the heart buttons from the Scrapmatts Sewing 01 (CB1193) and the new Scrap Words 10, (CB1207), for the word Doll.
a close-up
I will be back real soon....

Hope you are having an awesome day.....

Love and hugs

Scrap the Boys......June Challenge.

Hello beautiful people....
 Can't believe it's June already and I am only a few days away from heading to Brisbane for Expo!!!

Okay! Onto this months Scrap the Boys challenge....

JUNE CHALLENGE...

This month the challenge is to create a layout that is about 'SPORT' it must also have a photo smaller than 6x4, include Stamping and at least one of the following colours:
Red - Teal - Orange  or Yellow

Please link you're layout no later than 11.59pm 30th June to be in the chance to win one of the above prizes!

 {Always a winner 2 me}

 look at that determination on his little face......egg and spoon race and some major competition!

I have like a gazillion of these chipboard numbers and thought I really should use the little buggers also thought the Prima numerals that we (I) hardly ever utilise could be hard as well!!
So lots of Orange (think it was tiger lily) glimmermist, a splash of Slate glimmermist, a touch of stamping, using Darkroom Doors, Checkered stamp and also a chevron stamp from BoBunny....some machine stitching and waala!!
Loving the tangled thread thingy too, atm!
a grungy, boy layout.

So hope you feel inspired to have a go this month at Scrap the Boys....with winter here it is the perfect time to settle in and do a little scrapping.....

Hope your having a great weekend and keep warm
Cheers
Kim
