#80-CSI *Such a Pretty Case File*

Hope your having a great weekend?

I really loved case file #80 at CSI

{Into You}
I recently purchased my first Spellbinder Dies.....they are so pretty, I think I will be using these quite a bit in the future.
Homemade transparency.....lots of Prima paper, flowers, wooden button, ruler, alpha's.
  metal charms.....all Prima goodies available from Craft Queen.
I've also had a play with some of the Croco Crackle....which was fun.
I have scrapped this photo before but I really love it!
I had planned on using 3 photo's but of course my printer was being VERY silly and I was only able to get one pic that was usable.....

So the file looks like.....

The sketch by Emma Stafrace is pretty awesome too

Thanks for stopping
 Please let me know you stopped by.......

cheers

Scrapmatts are Awesome~~~~Just Saying!!!

Afternoon
Just wanted to share my latest for
       Scrapmatts
The Design Team had to lift, multi-scrap (more than 3 photo's) and proceed what we think the coming trends in scrapbooking will be...
Layout-Lift your idol....
I decided to lift Kasia from Prima DT. Love the colours in her creations.
 Here is my lift....
{Once Upon a Time}
lots of glimmermist in pink, orange splash of black, fussy cut flowers, stamping
Scrapmatts- Window 02,  Scrap Words 05

Close-ups

Layout 2.....Multi-photo Layout 3 or more photos.....
I struggled with this one....until I found the Film Strip ATC's....then it all came together....
Layout about Mason's Year 10 Formal, he was a real pain this day...not wanting his photo taken....grrr!

And lastly, what I proceed the coming trends for Scrapping will be.....hmmm?!
 I think we will see lots of mixed media still....water paints and paints in general like Luminarte.
  Project life will continue to grow, as it is simple scrapping, that still looks awesome.
Texture behind my ornate frame is created with texture paste....glimmermist I have applied with a paint brush
Scrapmatts used-

Hope you have a fabulous week and Happy Scrapping!!!

Scrap Around the World-July Challenge

Thought I would give this months challenge a go....@
Scrap Around The World

Basically be inspired by the above....

This is what I came up with...

{Lift}
Strong people don't put others down....They lift them up.
A layout on my eldest daughter, Samantha. She is such a caring girl and a beautiful friend.

I have used Prima Hollyhock mask, Prima flowers, and lots of other beautiful flowers from
flower trim and hessian ribbon as well are from Craft Queen.

I've used the Prima mask 2 ways- 1, I've misted onto some canvas then cut it out & stuck it on my layout. 2, I've used the mask with texture paste over the top of my stuck down Hollyhocks, then added some random machine stitching.

I really enjoyed this challenge a big thank you to Helen and all the amazing girls on the team over at Scrap Around The World.
Thanks Keren for this months Regal/Romantic Challenge
Very Inspiring!!!!

Thanks for stopping by
Cheers

CSI# 79, Love.

Afternoon All

Just stopping in to add this layout and a few close-ups....

Here is my layout
 I've done this one on my beautiful parents.....

 {Love}

 All of the web ribbon, twine, flower trim, and the Prima check mask I used to create this layout are available from
Nicole has an endless supply of glorious goodies in store.....do yourself a favour and stop by!
 I've tried to increase the size of these pic's for you but for some silly reason blogger won't let me......grrrrrrrr!

My journaling on the back of this layout reads.....
They wanted to get married- Graham, 19 years & Molly, 16 years of age. They had her mother's blessing. They just needed his parents? They made the journey to his parents home. They said "No, your too young!". The freedom to wed and be together taken away, but not for long. They would find a way. Love always does!!!

So the csi case file#79 looks like....
for more info on the case go to
Thanks for stopping
hope you are having a great week so far?

Hi all :)
 The new Scrap The Boys challenge has been up for a few days now and it is a good one (as always!)

This month you need to create a layout using a black and white headshot of your boy(s) or man, everything else is up to you!

* Please link your layouts no later than 11.59pm 31st July.
Now that's some easy and very do-able challenge, be sure to pop on over and have a look at the other Design Team Examples....they are awesome!!!
 Here is my take plus a few close ups....

 {We Miss You!}
Rhys is overseas studying at the moment, in Hiroshima, but not long and he will be back on home turf.....about a month....Yay!!!
 I've used some awesome Cogs from Scrapmatts
also some Web Ribbon from Craft Queen
I'm really enjoying working with that web ribbon.....
I've mostly used the papers, cogs and bits with this layout and tried to keep the focus on my boy

Thanks for stopping Bye

Orange Paperie & Co -SSS Challenge for July

My turn to pick the challenge for this month over at OP&C and to ask a talented Scrapper to be my Guest Designer for the month of July.....

 As most of you know I love machine stitching on my layouts....so there had to be stitching... Stencils and masks are everywhere so I thought that's something else I could include and finally, I know I have heaps of stamps I know I don't use enough ???? hmmmm!

So was born              The TRIPLE "S" Challenge

1. STITCHING-(machine, hand or even hand drawn.)
2. STAMPING
3. STENCILLING/masking-(use with any media-ink, paint, texture paste.)

 The Scrapper I approached for Guest Designer this month is the awesomely talent Rachael Funnell. Be sure to check Rachael's blog HERE
She is such a treasure. I have met Rachael on a few occasions now and she is a class act all the way. Rachael has just made the Kaisercraft Design Team 2013-2014. Congrats Rachael!

Now to show you my layout.....it is a Vintage style layout of my mother with 2 of her little friends. She is in the middle and by my calculations she would have been 11 or 12 years of age.
 I don't have a lot of photo's of her, but thanks to FB and my cousin Rod, who posted this photo I now have an extra one.....Thanks Cuzz!

 {1954}

My Mother (middle) aged 11-12yrs
I've used CB8005 Layered Frame 03
from Scrapmatts. I had about half the frame left over from another project and knew it was just what I needed for this project. I lightly misted with a pink mist.
Metal charms are from

I have used a prima mask (flower by Finnabair) and just used ink and a blender for my stencil work and I have randomly stamped using an old prima stamp I have had in my stash for some time.....and yep!!! of course, machine stitching.

I hope you can join us at OP&C this July
and thanks for  stopping bye
